I have been performing since I was 4 years I have received extensive personal training in the following specific styles of dance Classical, Jazz Ballet, Tap, American Funk and Hip Hop. I was a professional dancer and choreographer during the entertainment boom of the 80’s, working in all facets of the industry. I have studied extensively in Australia and overseas performing with many international entertainers. Working alongside numerous artists for many years has influenced and developed my creativity for entertainment specializing in choreographing and directing children’s productions. After a successful career I realized my goals were with developing children who shared the same dreams and passion for performing and entertaining a live audience. I have a deep passion and understanding for this industry with a reputation of producing professional entertainment for any audience. My reputation sees me as sought after and a “go to person” for choreography and one who specializes in children’s entertainment. In February 1988, I formed the Just Jazz Talent Company to pass on this knowledge to children, developing their skills and offering opportunities for performance in all levels and styles. Presently I am now in control of a company that specializes in developing and teaching performing arts to in excess of 500 children, some of which are now carving successful careers in the entertainment industry. This achievement is endless and reinforces a personal satisfaction as students continue to grow and realize their dreams. Through my passion and energy, I have created a vision for the company. I continue to do this today. In July 2005, I achieved a major milestone, but more importantly fulfill a young girl’s dreams. The Just Jazz Talent Company further diversified and expanded into a new purpose built facility, offering students better programmes and incorporating tuition in the music industry. Studio 24 Music was born and added another exciting step in the journey. It has been a major success story in twenty years with my underlying principal of “All classes have to be FUN”. “I am very lucky to do what I do for a living, ” “It’s both my hobby and my job…The thrill of seeing an audience enjoying something that I have helped to create or develop is really special, yes, I am very lucky.”
